(The following is encouragement from Don himself.)
Jim Elliot, one of four missionaries slain by the Auca Indians in South America many years ago was quoted as saying, "Blessed is the man who gives what he cannot keep to gain that which he cannot lose." (That was, surrendering his own life to the Lordship of Jesus Christ to gain what he could not lose - eternal life. The men's wives went on loving that tribe insomuch that they too surrendered their pagan lives to this same Jesus.)
So, if you, the reader, are sensing a tug from God's Holy Spirit, right now and recognize your personal need of Jesus in your life, all it takes is a very simple prayer from your heart, "Oh God, be merciful to me, a sinner, and save me from all my past sin. Jesus, I surrender my life to You. Cleanse me; fill me with Your holy presence; help me to continuously surrender every bit of my life and will to Your perfect will for me. Thank you, Jesus, for coming in and taking over my life. Lead me in the way that pleases You, alone. In Your precious name, Jesus, amen.
Remember, whosoever will surrender to Jesus Christ may also have eternal life and live forever with Him, the King of kings and Lord of lords.
I care about your health and physical, well-being. But of greater importance, I care about your eternal well-being which will only be secure in none other than Jesus Christ.
God is pro-life. Satan, the devil, is pro-choice and his choice is to, eternally, separate you from Jesus. Don't listen to his lies another second. Turn about-face, to Jesus, now for a wonderful eternity. Trust Him!
Respectfully yours, Don Yates. 2-18-06

I
had a pain in my left side from my neck to my tail bone. I went for
therapy, two times a week for a whole year. Sometimes the pain went
away for two hours or, even for two days, but then it came back.
I heard about the science
of reflexology by Don Yates, so I called him to give me a treatment
in my home. He worked on my hands for one hour, with no instruments
used. Then he worked on my feet for another hour. The pain went away
and I felt good. THE PAIN WENT AWAY!! He came back six days later and
gave me a one hour treatment, again. The pain went away and hasn't
come back since. It really worked. J.S. Endicott, NY 8/07
Per
yours truly, Don Yates, I called her on 1-14-08 and asked if the pain
ever returned. She said, "No! But, if it ever does,
I'll call you right away."
As I told you over the phone, I scheduled a check-up ultrasound after you discovered a sensitive spot corresponding to my left breast. The ultrasound showed a mass, and I am now waiting for a biopsy. Without your discovery I would not have known about this until June, when I have my scheduled mammogram. Thanks very much for giving me 2-3 months' more time to find out what is going on and get needed treatment. I'll let you know what happens. Thanks again. MC March 2007
I was most impressed by our 2.5 hour session. I learned alot about refexology and its "helping hands". You showed a number of tender areas of the hand and feet that correlated to other parts of the body and how this tenderness was reduced......it was and I have felt great since then!! Thanks for your kind care...JB Vestal, NY Jan 2007
(From Don Yates, certified in reflexology, with 16 years experience, I've been training a Christian friend, with both reflexology and vitatherapy so I would have needed treatments, too. The following is her glowing report with a woman friend just yesterday, 9-9-06.)
I
have exciting news! I worked on my friend that has been hurting
all her life. She is in her 50's. I could never really work on
her hands or feet well, due to many areas that hurt her too much to
touch.
Today was different when using Vital Therapy... Only we
prayed as I carefully laid hands on her. Always keeping my right hand
on her liver... left on the problem area. She had major healing!!!!!
Yeah... Bless the Lord... The worst area was her pancreas.... her
solar plexus, she had a real bad arm issue, and real bad stomach
issue... (She has suffered an eating disorder for a while).
The client in Elmira is caring for her health.... Anyway, she felt
the pain go... some it transferred, like from her stomach to her
back... then we did the back, and spoke healing to that area...
She got up, moved around... and all is well!!!
This is so
exciting.... Couldn't wait to share it... It's 2:15AM, so I'll call
later today to set up our time again ...
Thank You So Much!!
I
will bring her to you sometime so she can share with you.

Thank you for the 2 hour+ session last night! I had an excellent night’s rest and my right kidney is still tingling and feels tender. Not sure if that’s a good thing. The foot reflexology I had in Hong Kong started with a hot foot soak and the feet are washed. The foot soak was nice after a long day of walking around Hong Kong. The reflexologist didn’t ask if I had any tender spots while he was doing the reflexology. He showed me a chart of the feet and it had an image of organs embedded on the feet so you would know which spots pointed to which body part. He wasn’t as fast as you were. I liked how you isolated tender spots and used your vetatherapy to heal the area. It adds another level of depth to the treatment. It was amazing to feel the heat and vibration coming from your hands even with a pillow underneath your hand. That’s a wonderful skill you have. I told my friends about you and they want to give it a try too. I also enjoyed talking to you about singing, your family and your healing experiences. I had a great time! MK Binghamton, NY 7/06
Robert,
age 43, was a medical transcriptionist in the army. This was his
testimony at his second reflexology treatment at Oneonta, NY, 18 Jul
‘96:
The most immediate, noticeable, objective observation
made in conjunction with the first reflexology treatment of Thursday
11 July ‘96 was hair on scalp returned to state of physical
being when I was a teenager (more than a twenty year rejuvenative
response.) This occurred within 24 hours after treatment.
Within
96 hours, an apparent reversal of nerve damage associated with
traumatic injury to a number of sites occurred - comminuted femur,
midshaft (Aug 1983), as well as impactor nerve (June 1992.)
Neurological blockage appeared to be resolved, the mechanism being of
a mechanical/chemical/electrical nature, I suppose. Am scheduled to
consult with Dr. Walker, M. J. Bassett Hospital, Oneonta this
Saturday and seek further consultation with a neurologist.
My main
concern is that the Veterans Administration recognize reflexology as
well as chiropractic healing as a bonafide alternative to what they
institute as "dictatorial medicine" in the way of (bad)
psychiatric and/or otherwise "traditional healing," or take
notice that my ‘service-connected-disability’ in just a
week has gone from 70%-50%-30%, to the present 10%, which should now
go to 0%. Also, of concern, is that this 70%-0% improvement goes
against medical advice. This says something of the failings of
"traditional medicine." R.M. Oneonta, NY 7/96
Since my first treatment I’ve had more energy and have not needed my extra chiropractic treatment. I did feel a difference of less stress in my back. D.G. East Meredith, NY 8/96
After going to medical doctors because of numbness and swelling in my feet and legs, I decided to try a reflexologist. He helped me tremendously. After three treatments, one leg is lots better and I can see improvement in the other. J.H. Downsville, NY 9/96
Dear Don, You know me from BCC! In fact, I took several photos of you at our Small Business Resource Fair. I'll e-mail some to you next week! I've had a treatment from you and I think you are fantastic!
DM* Broome Community College, Binghamton, NY 6/05 (*not the DM that has MS and did not come for her third, free Rx (treatment) in a seven-day period.)
My husband, Al, and I were visiting my sister at the end of Richards Avenue in South Vestal, NY, where she had just moved. She received an information packet from Don Yates, just two houses away, a few minutes earlier, about his reflexology business. We read through it and were very interested. Sis called and asked if Al could come for a treatment on such short notice, and it being New Year's Day. "Yes, by all means."
Al is diabetic and has had severe neuropathy - numbness - in both feet and lower legs for two years. Just walking a mere two hundred feet, and he's totally exhausted. He worked thirty-one years with the Pennsylvania State Game Commission.
Al said Mr. Yates worked on his hands for forty-five minutes and told him to get up from the LA-Z-Boy recliner, walk across the room and return. Then he asked Al, "How do you feel?" "Wow!! What a difference, and all that through my hands. This is really great." Then he told Al to sit down and worked on his feet for another forty-five minutes.
When Al came back, we all could see and hear the difference in his walk and talk. Al was jubilant. Al said Mr. Yates offered me a free treatment to experience what it's all about.
While doing reflexology on my hands, he found several tender spots, in what he called 'reflexes,' related to various areas of my body. Then he performed what he called "vitatherapy" - a branch of neuro-muscular therapy - using a couch pillow over some areas that he said were inappropriate for him to touch. Three were in my breasts - one in the left and, two in the right. The same pillow was applied over my bladder, so I wouldn't have to get up three or four times each night. He, also, found tender reflexes for my left shoulder, left kidney and a couple areas in my spine. Vitatherapy took care of them all. The bronchitis and right knee pain I'd had for two months, disappeared. Needless to say, I was very impressed. He returned to "All Those Hurting Reflexes" and they were no longer tender. And all those areas are still problem free.
Al was outside, most all of the following day and, manually, split four face cords of firewood. He split more all that following week. We both are doing just fine and cannot say enough about reflexology and vitatherapy. A. & C. V. Uniondale, Pa 1/22/05
(From Don Yates on 3/26/2004 - on March 24, just two days ago, I called the MS Society's local office in Binghamton. I talked with Meagan C., age 30, their new program coordinator with only three weeks experience. I related my offer for anyone with MS, on the lead page of this site, to provide three free, one-hour treatments in a seven-day period, to prove what may be accomplished with reflexology and vitatherapy. And though she did not have MS, I offered her a treatment - extended, if need be - so she could assess the personal benefits and relate them to those having MS. Both she and I had the time on the 24th; she came at 2PM and left at 5PM and the following is her testimony, that I just received in the postal mail, today on the 26th.)
Dear Mr. Yates, I cannot thank you enough for the reflexology and vitatherapy treatment that you gave to me. You relieved my sinus pressure, hip pain, and lower back pain and made it easier for me to breathe. The pain in my (left) hip has been a constant nuisance for over a year and after (this,) my first treatment, I am relieved to say that I am pain free. I am now a firm believer in the benefits of reflexology and vitatherapy and plan to continue treatments. After telling my husband about how good I felt, he has decided to try it for his arthritis. I look forward to partnering with you in many future endeavors to benefit individuals with MS.
Thank you so very much for everything; I feel like a new woman, today. Sincerely, M.E.C., MS Program Coordinator, Binghamton, NY 3/25/04
Dear Don, I wanted to write and thank you for my foot and hand treatment recently. What a gift you gave me! Besides being a firm believer in stopping and finding rest, especially in the Lord, I, also, believe in touch and massage as a way to relax those overactive or, in some cases (especially for me as time goes on,) those under-active muscles.
I was telling you that I have been appreciative of your work as far back as my junior year of high school, when you would share your gift after some grueling football or track practices. I remember one day in particular, after a special Easter program at our church, you came to my home and began rubbing my feet. While working through my arch, you noticed a wince in my face, and began to ask about the pain I must have felt. As we found the place on my foot, you began to ask about the right side of my neck. Up until that point, I had tried not to let it show - especially as a teen guy - that any pain was really there. Just that week, I had been playing football with some friends and had pulled my neck muscle. I could, barely, turn my head to the right, the day you came.
After your treatment, my neck regained nearly full range of motion, with very little pain remaining. Had you simply and visually, identified a sore spot, as I interacted with you, the experience could have been rationalized away. However, it could not have been, simply, a coincidence that you were able to, actually, help that problem area!
Don, thank you again for your service and ministry! You are a dear friend, and I pray the Lord's richest blessings on you, as you are, truly, His hands!
In Christ, Nazarene Pastor J.V.M. Formerly, of Endicott, NY 12/12/2003
(This is from yours truly, Don Yates, passed along by word-of-mouth from two sibling sources.)
A pastor friend of mine recommended me to his sister who has been on workers compensation four years for a work-related injury. I told him, I have an on-going offer of three free, one-hour treatments in one week for anyone with MS, with no strings attached, proving the benefits of reflexology and neuro-muscular therapy. She had two operations on her left shoulder, leaving her with relentless pain and agony, there and other places.
She came for two, 1.3-hour treatments in as many days. She could not believe the pain relief in just two days. I fully expected her to return for the third, two days later. She gave an excuse of a forgotten doctor's appointment and never made an attempt to return for the third session in that seven day, time period.
A month later, her brother told me she stopped coming for fear of losing her worker's compensation if she became, totally, pain-free!! D.M. Endicott, NY
Dear Don, On behalf of the NAWP, (National Association of Wedding Professionals) Southern Tier Chapter, thank you for your wonderful presentation of reflexology and vitatherapy at our 10/28/03 meeting. We learned a lot and enjoyed the treatments. Your skill and patience amazed us! Thank you so much! M.H. Endwell, NY 11/12/03
I've had to sleep in a recliner for eight to nine years. When I awake in the morning, my pajamas are all wet from tearing in my right eye, daily, for more than five years. Yesterday, 4-10-2003, two Christian gentlemen from the church that my daughter's family attends regularly, stopped in to make a personal call on me. During my conversation with one of them, I mentioned that I had this very annoying problem in my right eye. He said he is a certified reflexologist and could help me if I wanted. After years of supporting the tissue business, almost single-handedly, what did I have to lose? He worked on what he said was the right eye reflex on my right hand for about half an hour. The rest of the day, it felt like my eye was still tearing, but it wasn't. It is, very slightly, today, but my pajamas were perfectly dry this morning. (A note from yours truly, Don Yates - a couple more treatments and this problem should be GONE!) G. P. Vestal, NY 4-11-2003
I am an EMT - Emergency Medical Technician - with the Vestal emergency squad. One afternoon, two weeks ago, Don Yates, a certified reflexologist, came to our station and volunteered free hand treatments to any of us with aches and pains.
I had right shoulder pain for three months. He did reflexology on my right hand. He said the four separate reflexes for my shoulder pinpointed the exact pain spots. And in just ten minutes, my shoulder pain was gone.
While working on my left hand, Mr. Yates found a real sensitive spot. I told him I had some arthritis there. He said the sore spot was the reflex area for a possible hiatal hernia and where the esophagus empties into the stomach. As with the right shoulder, he applied what he called vitatherapy to my diaphragm area. I had a strange gurgling sensation there. After working on that for another ten minutes, he went back to all the reflexes for my right shoulder and left diaphragm. There was no more discomfort in any of them. After two weeks, I'm still pain-free. D.W. Vestal, NY 11/21/02
As my husband and I were walking around the Chenango Fair Grounds (August, 2001), I discovered a gentleman, Don Yates, who was a reflexologist. I said to my husband, "Let's have our hands and feet done! I've heard that great things can happen if you believe in this type of therapy." Of course my husband declined to participate because he is very suspicious to non-medical techniques. So I signed up for a 1/2 hour of hand reflexology. During my therapy session, Don Yates said to me I see a problem in the area of your collarbone. He performed Vitatherapy by placing one hand just under my collarbone and the other just below my waistline. I felt immense heat -- much like the heat that comes from a roaring fireplace. Within a few minutes, the immense heat subsided. Don completed my hand reflexology and I left the premises feeling relaxed, but completely unaware of the magnitude of Vitatherapy until a week later. You see, I had just had my annual physical a couple of days before the fair, and my doctor had diagnosed me as having two cysts in my left breast (I had not divulged any of this medical information before, during, or after my reflexology session). Well, last Friday, I had my scheduled diagnostic mammogram ordered by my doctor and you should have seen my expression when the radiologist told me there was not a trace of a cyst in either of my breasts. I don't know whether reflexology and/or Vitatherapy was wholly responsible for the "cure", but I am very thankful for the outcome and convinced that it played a large part in my "healthiness". I am currently enrolling in a reflexology class to learn more about this dynamic alternative health therapy. Thanks for being there, Don! E.R., Oxford, N.Y.
In the three and one-half hours of my first reflexology/vitatherapy treatment by Donald Yates, I had major relief from the face, neck, shoulder and arm pain - no pain when I left. My RSD (Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy) has been an ongoing problem since 3/31/89 (when I fell on a concrete floor and laid, unconscious, for fifteen minutes), with the severity of the pain getting worse as time went on - peak level since 1993. Until now, I have not held much hope for the future, other than my wife and two sons - the only reason to keep going. Now, with the help I am receiving through massage therapy and reflexology, I have a new and brighter outlook on life and the year 2001. 12/19/00 R.W. Greene, NY
Note by yours truly, Don Yates {12/25/00}: Ron was referred to me by massage therapist, Debbie Shear, of Whitney Point, NY, where Debbie and I met and reciprocated on treatments at the Broome County Fair 2000. I’ve had remarkable results in individuals with RSD, using both reflexology and vitatherapy - a simple hands-on, touch-technique, to remove all kinds of pain. The severe pain, experienced by six of the eight, was gone in less than fifteen minutes. Ron’s, above, was 3.5 hours. There was a woman at the DeRuyter, NY Fireman’s Fair 2000, in a wheel chair, from Georgetown, NY, that I worked on for three hours. She was the only one I could not help. But seven of eight, with pure agony, that no pain-killer could touch, was a real blessing to them and to me, as well.
"I’ve had vertigo (extremely dizzy and being off balance) for 15 years. Whenever I have to bend over, I cannot stand up. I have to carry a bucket with me all the time because it makes me vomit, many times, from this extreme dizziness. I’ve spent nearly $200,000 on the best neurologists from coast to coast and nothing or no one has helped. My husband and I went to Lumberjack Festival 2000 in my hometown. We met Mr. Yates who told us about his profession. I asked if he could possibly help with my situation. He did a different kind of rubbing on my hands, for nearly a half hour and told me to stand up and bend over four times when he was done. I did. And I could! THERE WAS NO MORE DIZZINESS!!! What a relief! What a joy. My hands held the answer that highly paid specialists could not remedy. It’s now two days since the treatment and no problem! If it ever does come back, I know where I’m going and it’s only 45 miles." M.B. Deposit, NY (7-15-00)
“Mr. Yates came to my business site to open a new account. He told me about his business of reflexology and asked if I had any aches or pains. ‘Do I ever?’ I exclaimed! I’ve had this terrible pain in the third and fourth toes of my right foot for three years, to the point of tears every day. I even had shots of cortisone that did not help. He said, ‘Let me see your right hand, please.’ He worked on the third and fourth fingers of my right hand for about ten minutes. I couldn’t believe it!! The pain just melted away. Here, I was going to the doctor every week and this dreadful, intense pain was gone in ten minutes. What a blessing!! What a relief!!” D.H. Endicott, NY
“Don Yates, offering to provide benefit, fund-raising, reflexology hand or foot treatments here at the Nazarene Church Family Camp in Brooktondale, NY, asked me if I had any pains I wanted to lose. ‘How about an agonizing, twenty-year-old back and neck pain?’, I asked. He worked on the back of my right hand for twenty minutes, and this pain that my doctor claimed would require a back operation, was gone. And another amazing result: whenever others were clapping, with raised hands, to the beat of the music, I had to clap in a different way - in my lap - during the past several years. I couldn’t clap with my hands raised. During song time and without thinking about it, I began clapping with my hands raised, too. What a restored joy!! Then after the worship service, he gave me a one-hour treatment on both feet. For the past several years, I would always rise at 5 AM. But the next morning, I slept until 7AM and the next day, 7:30 AM. And now I can touch my toes with no problem and have much more daily strength. I am able to pick up manhole covers by myself, which used to take two of us. J.B. Brooktondale, NY
I have been receiving reflexology treatments from Don on a very regular basis for over a year. I have always found them to be very relaxing and a great way to reduce stress. While Don has explained to me many times during my visits how reflexology can reduce and even eliminate pain in all parts of the body, I have never really believed in the connection between the hands and feet with the rest of the body. One day a few weeks ago I arrived at the YMCA for my treatment and told Don about the nagging pain I had on the right side of my back. Don spent about 10 minutes giving me a neuro-muscular therapy treatment and then worked extra on my right hand and right foot. By the time my session was over the pain was gone. I wasn't a believer when I walked in, but I am certainly a believer now. J. N. - Endicott, NY
After attending "UHS women's winter weekend," I decided to try Reflexology with Don Yates at the Johnson City YMCA. I was always tired and had very little energy. After going to Don for one week I noticed a tremendous difference. I was actually getting up before the alarm clock to exercise. Something I haven't done in years. I went one week without a treatment (only because Don was on vacation) and I could really feel the difference. I am a long time sufferer with sinuses and I cannot believe how great I feel after my treatments. The pressure within my head has disappeared and my earaches are gone. I have been telling everyone I know, to just try it once and you won't be disappointed. JoAnn A. - Binghamton, NY
After my first treatment, I didn't have to take any more antihistamines for my sinuses. N. F. Owego, NY
I had a kidney infection and possible stones. I was under a doctor's care. I had an appointment for the following day to determine what would be required to eliminate this terrible pain. I could hardly walk and I couldn't bend over, at all. Don Yates, a Christian friend from church called and offered a treatment in my home. He worked on my feet for over an hour, in the early evening. He left and I remained in my recliner. Later, I got up to answer the phone. I WAS SHOCKED!! I didn't have any pain. I even did a load of wash. I told the urologist about it the next day. He said, "Fine. I'll see you in two weeks." And I haven't had any pain since. M. D. - Nichols, NY
After two weeks without a bowel movement, I spent a week in Wilson Hospital with impacted constipation. They pumped out my stomach, had two intravenous lines in each arm, gave me stool softeners and suppositories and, finally, had to dig it out - more painful than birthing my two daughters. After another 1 1/2 weeks of discomfort, I came to Mr. Yates at 9:30AM, and at 8:20 PM, absolute, total relief! T.S. Vestal, NY
Within weeks after my first treatment, my allergies lessened to the point where I no longer needed to take antihistamines or Sudafed; my sinus headaches, persistent for three years, ceased and the numbness in my left arm & hand dramatically decreased. L. R. Oneonta, NY
I am in my late 50's and I love to go shopping, especially on those bus trips like Reading, PA or wherever. My only problem, I just don't have the energy anymore. I tried Reflexology from Mr. Yates and I was off and running. The needed energy, would you believe, lasted for months. When I returned to Mr. Yates, 5 months later, he thought possibly that I didn't like the treatment. On the contrary, it was wonderful! That one-hour treatment made my days. L. S. Union Center, NY
I have MS. Following my first treatment on 06/18/97, I slept better without spasticity (which causes a sudden lurching) in the legs and minimum spasticity in the arms. I had an increase in energy immediately following the first treatment of 2.5 hrs. I did experience a very dry mouth. Following the 2nd treatment, 2 days later I experienced bedtime with no spasticity. I have been able to be quite successful using no more than 2 Zanaflex tablets - a three-tablet decrease from 5/day. M.E. Apalachin, NY
Chronic constipation improved this week with the first treatment. I felt thristy & lazy for about 24 hours, then good. J.S. Oneonta, NY
I moved several pieces of furniture in my home on April 16th, 1997. As a result, I had pain in the back of my neck, in both shoulders and in my spine. Donald gave me a foot treatment on April 18th, after which all the pain was gone. Donald worked an extra thirty minutes on my feet as I planned to go on the MS walk on April 20th. Two separate walks are available, one for 1.5 hours and the other for 3 hours. I (Sharon) did complete the 3-hour MS walk and had it certified with a post card that says, "10 miles, Sharon D., at 1997 MS Walk." Thanks to Donald, I won an MS medal! S.D. Endicott, NY
I have these conditions: Chronic Fatique Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, interstitial cystitis, mitral valve prolapse & allergies. After each of three sessions I noticed a definite improvement in energy and lessening of pain levels (usually after about 18 - 24 hours). When I skipped a week, I could really see the difference, and was very eager to get to my next treatment. I also came in one day with a cold and my symptoms seem to improve by the end of the session. D. B. Oneonta, NY
At the '99 Broome County Fair I had my hands done with reflexology, just "as a lark". After the half-hour treatment, the pain in my back that had been there for years was gone! I couldn't believe it and waited for it to come back.
It's now more than a week later and it still hasn't come back. I'm telling all my friends and, hopefully, I'll be able to have Don (Yates) come to my home for this wonderful therapy for all of us. Mary H. Oxford, NY
Note by yours truly, Don Yates {9/17/01}: I stopped to see Mary H. in Oxford, NY, during August 2001 on my way to the Chenango County fair at Norwich, NY. She said that pain never came back! (That was two full years, for those of you who may ask, "How do the benefits of these treatments last?" Of course, they vary with every recipient of reflexology.)
I chuckled to myself when Don Yates offered me a reflexology treatment, wondering just what good this would do. But right after, I became a believer. A nagging backache, I had for a month, completely vanished.
J. G. Berkshire, NY 9/1992
A short time before leaving our train - Amtrak - to Winslow, AZ, I lifted a large, heavy suitcase from a rack over my head. Pain shot through my lower back and down my legs. Don worked on my feet for about ten minutes. All the pain in my legs and most of it in my back was gone. Amazing! F. J. Owego, NY 3/1993
I have MS - Multiple Sclerosis. For several years, I’ve had severe neck pain, numbness in my legs and a chronic bladder problem that caused me to get up two or three times every night. After just five, weekly, reflexology treatments, most of the neck pain is gone; I’m getting feeling back in my legs; and, I can sleep eight to ten hours, without interruption. J. D. Vestal, NY 5/1993
I’d been having terrible, lower back pain for some time. About ten minutes before Don Yates and I were to sing in a gospel concert with the Binghamton Community Gospel Choir, he, briefly, worked on a couple areas of my feet. The pain eased greatly and made it a real joy to sing. N. B. Binghamton, NY 6/1993
I am a male nursing student at SUNY Binghamton. A fellow student and I were given the assignment to visit a reflexologist for a treatment. When he was working on the pads of my toes, I experienced some discomfort. He said, “Oh, you have a little sinus problem, don’t you?” I neglected to make that notation on his health questionnaire. The next day I had a flood of mucus and my sinuses cleared. R. L. Binghamton, NY 10/1994
At the close of our community garage sale, Don Yates stopped by. During the conversation, I shared that I had bursitis in my left shoulder. I am a cosmetologist and am using my arms continuously. He said, “Take off your left shoe and see if I can help.” I could feel the pain just melt away.
G. F. Vestal, NY 5/1995
Don Yates, baritone, asked my husband to sing a duet with him at a future, evening service and came to our home for a practice session. Afterward, he asked if either of us would care to experience a foot reflexology treatment. I volunteered and sat down in our recliner to see what this was all about. He found a real tender spot in the pads below the toes of my right foot. I already knew about it because my podiatrist said it was a neuroma and could only be corrected by an operation. Our son is a podiatrist in a distant city and discouraged me from agreeing to the operation. Don said that area of my right foot was the "reflex area" for my right chest/lung/breast. He pointed to the spot in my right breast and asked me to press my finger tips there to determine if it was tender. It was! Then Don asked my husband to do what he called vitatherapy, placing his left hand on my breast and his right hand on the back of my neck. When the vitatherapy was done there, the pains in both my right foot and breast were gone. This is amazing. Don said if I'd had the operation, that part of my right foot would never feel anything again and the cause would still remain in my breast, with noticeable pain remaining in the metacarpals in my right hand, which is the hand reflex area.
